I haven't abandoned this place, I swear. Just dealing with a one-two combo of physical and mental maladies, all while reacclimating to my kid being in school. Getting the site built and together was a big task - I inevitably end up basically doing an HTML crash course every time I start messing with the guts of a website, let alone when I try to do anything new - and I didn't even wanna look at a website afterwards.

But time marches forward and so does the work. Fires I currently have irons in, in no particular order:

• Weird West Gay Cowboy Romance (working title Ghost Town)
• Sapphic Fake Date Romance (working title Magic Fake Date Lesbians)
• Untitled Weird West Comic Scripts*
• Third ACGS Book

I'm noodling with the idea of putting previews of these things on ko-fi or Patreon or similiar; most likely the scripts. I also have various updates planned for the site, including an RSS feed and some kind of guestbook/comment system. All of that will happen...when it happens. The point is I'm still here, I'm still kicking, I still don't know how I feel about the brown. Everything else will shake out in the end.

*I do mean literally just scripts; I am not a comic artist. The most visual imagery these will be accompanied by is some scribbly thumbnails/storyboards, MAYBE with some color thrown on.

I think I can call this a website. At least for right now. The colors may still shift somewhat - I'm not sure how I feel about the brown yet - but for right now, for 1 in the morning and two days of learning one million new coding things just to implement them Very Badly, I think I can call this a website.

I literally stopped in the middle of typing this to go make the background darker & the font bigger. Legitimate design choice or a sign that my eyes are begging for the sweet release of death sleep? Only one way to find out, I guess.

I'm not saying I don't like learning new things, but I would like for them to kick me in the head slightly less during the learning process.

There's a Books page! Click 'em, they tell you stuff! I did this on one hour of sleep, imagine what I'll do once I take a nap. (Nothing, because I will be asleep the rest of the day.) I gotta tweak this color scheme somewhat, which will probably also involve making a new banner because guess who didn't save their .psd. But it's fine! It's fine. Everything is and will be fine. Eventually.

In time, this will be a blog. For now, it's a placeholder main page for what will eventually be where my writing lives on the internet. If you somehow manage to stumble on this page, please mind the dust and the fact that none of those links work yet.
